IRVINE, CA — You can wait until after your memorial services, barbecues and family gatherings to drag your trash out to the curb.
Waste Management of Orange County’s recycling pick-up schedule will be delayed by one day throughout the week of May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. In addition, all Waste Management of Orange County operations will be closed, including transfer stations in Irvine and Orange, on Monday, May 29, with normal operations resuming on Tuesday, May 30.
Customers in the following updated cities list should place their carts out for pick-up one day later than usual, beginning Tuesday, May 30 through Saturday, June 3:
- Santa Ana
- Irvine
- Laguna Beach
- Laguna Woods
- Mission Viejo
- Communities in unincorporated Orange County, including Coto de Caza, Cowan Heights, Emerald Bay, Las Flores, Lemon Heights, Modjeska Canyon, North Tustin, Orange Park Acres, Silverado Canyon and Trabuco Canyon
